We are a small Episcopal Church on the banks of the Rappahannock in Port Royal, Virginia. We acknowledge that we gather on the traditional land of the first people of Port Royal, the Nandtaughtacund, and we respect and honor with gratitude the land itself, the legacy of the ancestors, and the life of the Rappahannock Tribe. Our mission statement is to do God’s Will in all that we do.

Village Harvest feeds 112 on a snowy Feb. 20, 2019


The weather was not ideal but we did have 112 to participate in our market, slightly above 110 last month.

Food was plentiful at 1,553 pounds the largest size since May, 2019. The average pounds per person was just under 14 pounds with an estimated value of $83. At 222 people served so far this year we are under 236 from a year ago.

Foods included cabbage,potatoes,lemons,bacon,assorted soups,sausages,lemonade, chips, carrots,peanut butter, tuna, fruit and jello. This includes 712 pounds of produce, 559 pounds of grocery and 282 pounds of meat
