We are a small Episcopal Church on the banks of the Rappahannock in Port Royal, Virginia. We acknowledge that we gather on the traditional land of the first people of Port Royal, the Nandtaughtacund, and we respect and honor with gratitude the land itself, the legacy of the ancestors, and the life of the Rappahannock Tribe. Our mission statement is to do God’s Will in all that we do.

Scenes from “All Saints Sunday”

Charles Sydnor's Last Sunday      Procession

The weather was brisk but the Church was warm inside with over 50 people in attendance with coffee hour to follow which featured Vivian’s potato soup and Nancy’s chile. It was bittersweet remembering the saints who have proceeded us. It was also sad that it was Charles Syndor’s last Sunday as celebrant for Catherine Hicks who challenged us to take time for prayer life, study Jesus life and act as saints in the days ahead. (All Saints Sermon is here). A new adult education offering was started – "What it Means to Be an Episcopalian" with a beginning discussion on the Book of  Common Prayer
