We are a small Episcopal Church on the banks of the Rappahannock in Port Royal, Virginia. We acknowledge that we gather on the traditional land of the first people of Port Royal, the Nandtaughtacund, and we respect and honor with gratitude the land itself, the legacy of the ancestors, and the life of the Rappahannock Tribe. Our mission statement is to do God’s Will in all that we do.

First Community Dinner, June 4, 2011

 Community Dinner June 4, 2011

The first Port Royal Community Dinner was held on June 4 in the afternoon besides the fire house. About 25 came to enjoy hot dogs, watermelon, chips, beans and good times. The children enjoyed playing with the bubbles and the swings. The weather was perfect in the mid-80’s under blue skies.

Thanks to the ECW and ECM for their support and labor, working together. Everyone felt this was a good start to these dinners of fellowship and outreach to the community. Ideas were floated for interfaith activities this summer involving the youth. You can get an idea of the event through this slideshow
