We are a small Episcopal Church on the banks of the Rappahannock in Port Royal, Virginia. We acknowledge that we gather on the traditional land of the first people of Port Royal, the Nandtaughtacund, and we respect and honor with gratitude the land itself, the legacy of the ancestors, and the life of the Rappahannock Tribe. Our mission statement is to do God’s Will in all that we do.

Choir retreat December. 1, 2017

Brad’s summary – "I rehearsed them for two hours, in sectionals, teaching them the voice parts for two anthems: “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel,” a lovely piece which uses the text and music of “Veni Emmanuel” commingled with the hymn tune “Gift of Love.” This anthem will be sung Dec. 10, if the snow doesn’t keep choir personnel away.

"The second anthem is a beautiful setting based on the beloved hymn, “In the Bleak Midwinter,” which will be sung at our Christmas Eve Service.

"I made them work for their lunch and enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship over Lasagne Bolonese, Christmas Salad, Garlic and Parmesan Bread, washed down with two kinds homemade sangria: (1) blackberry and (2) citrus."
