We are a small Episcopal Church on the banks of the Rappahannock in Port Royal, Virginia. We acknowledge that we gather on the traditional land of the first people of Port Royal, the Nandtaughtacund, and we respect and honor with gratitude the land itself, the legacy of the ancestors, and the life of the Rappahannock Tribe. Our mission statement is to do God’s Will in all that we do.

3rd Community Dinner attracts 23

Community Dinner Sat. Nov 12

Our 3rd community dinner on Nov. 12, 2011 attracted 23 guests to the firehouse. An additional 27 people from St. Peter’s helped or came to eat between 4pm and 6pm. Of the 51 people,  13 were children.

The dinner featured bake spaghetti with Barbara Wisdom’s spaghetti combined with Stanley Field’s wonderful sauce. We also had two salad’s with different dressings, regular and garlic bread and two varieties of cupcakes. Thanks to Cindy Fields, Phyllis Sue Carpenter, Elizabeth Heimbach and Terri Harrison who also helped with the preparation of the meal.  The next community dinner is planned for February, 2012.
