We are a small Episcopal Church on the banks of the Rappahannock in Port Royal, Virginia. We acknowledge that we gather on the traditional land of the first people of Port Royal, the Nandtaughtacund, and we respect and honor with gratitude the land itself, the legacy of the ancestors, and the life of the Rappahannock Tribe. Our mission statement is to do God’s Will in all that we do.

Congregational Meeting Feb 19, 2023

One item of business – electing Linda Upshaw to the Vestry. The annual Congregational Meeting gives us the opportunity to reflect on the year just past, and to look toward our future together. We will also elect Linda Upshaw to the Vestry.

We will also honor Andrea Pogue and Becky Fisher, who will both be rotating off the Vestry. Once the Vestry election takes place, members of the 2023 Vestry will be Cookie Davis and Robert Bryan (2024), Elizabeth Heimbach and Helmut Linne von Berg (2025) and Linda Upshaw (2026).

We thank Linda for “finding a need and filling it,” a quote from her brother Jimmy.
