We are a small Episcopal Church on the banks of the Rappahannock in Port Royal, Virginia. We acknowledge that we gather on the traditional land of the first people of Port Royal, the Nandtaughtacund, and we respect and honor with gratitude the land itself, the legacy of the ancestors, and the life of the Rappahannock Tribe. Our mission statement is to do God’s Will in all that we do.

Ladies Night Out, March 14, 2015

Ladies Night Out for the 12th year was celebrated at St. Peter’s. The date of the event 3/14/2015 was know as “Pi” day since the mathematical concept of pie starts with those numbers.|We had 26 people on a lovely night where the rain had stopped and the sun was peaking through at 6pm at the beginning of the event. The Hors d’oeuvre part before the main dinner went on a little longer as people enjoyed chicken wings, ham biscuits, salmon and crackers and drinks combined with socializing.|The dinner had an enormous amount of food – Johnny’s venison, Stanley’s meatloaf, Dave’s fish (cooked on site), Joe’s pot of vegetables, Alex’s kale and salmon, Ken’s terriyaki chicken plus remains of the earlier course and rice and a spicy corn pudding. There were 3 pies for pi day – cherry, apple and blackberry that were extremely tasty
